This was the first year that Thane had a real clue about Christmas..you know, the one about Santa Claus. We threw in a little about it being Jesus’ Birthday, Thane is all about birthdays so he could relate…especially if it meant there was cake.
On Christmas eve, we decorated their holiday plate (thanks for the idea Rachel!) with cookies and milk for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer!
Mara was into it too. She especially liked playing with her brother’s new toys.
The kids made out like bandits! Mara got clothes, clothes, and more clothes. Thane had the year of transportation with Cars and Thomas the Train. We could barely tear him away from that to eat the yummy dinner GiaGia made for Christmas day.
