Words from a 2 year old

Today is Thane’s second birthday. We had a wonderful day of a Gymnastics Party at Harpeth Gymnastics with 12 of his friends. He did great, we got there a few minutes early and he warmed right up. He was racing through everything, from the slide to the soft brick pit to the obstacle course. He was all smiles until his head fall onto the hard floor 3 feet below (apparently not everything in there is soft). He continues to not like the parachute, so that was short lived.

Ned was there so photos to come soon.

However, our little boy has become quite verbose. Here are some tidbits from today.

“Where did Katie go?” (Katie is our new neighbor)
When daddy was practicing puck skills with him, he then wanted his sister involved…”Mara throw puck Thane” he thought about it and then rephrased it…”Mara throw Thane puck”
“Hockey Cake”
When getting in car well after the party….”Where are we going?”

And my all time favorite…

“Mommy birthday?….No….Daddy Birthday?…No….THANE BIRTHDAY!”

Thane also got to stay up late tonight and watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Game 1. We also ate Chinese Food and Ice cream….
