Our Little Model

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

I know that I do not post items to the Herald nearly often enough. Every once in while, however, I see something that I just cannot resist commenting on. Seeing this photo of our little pride and joy was one of them.

If this pic does not remind you of someone, mouseover this hyperlink.

I added a stream of photos from our Flickr site on the right side of the website. Patience please, while I upload them all from Thane’s almost 8 months on this planet. I think I am at 4 months now and the sidebar will show the most recently uploaded, not the most recently taken. Hopefully I will get caught up soon. Enjoy!

Lemons & Yellow Balloons

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

A coworker of ours invited us and a few other “families” from the office to his son Dash’s 2nd birthday party. Matt hosted a very nice shindig with fun things for the kids as well as the adults. Thane was entranced by a yellow balloon he found.

Since we were in East Nashville anyway, we decided to go to Batter’d and Fried for dinner. We got a delicious order of salmon and chips and an order of edamame for us to share. I also decided my new beer of choice is Amstel Light (Jay had a Sam Adams). Batter’d and Fried might not have a healthy menu, but what they lack there, they make up for in ambiance.

Thane got a special order of lemon. He has had it before and found this vintage quite appealing (and yes, we took the seeds out before we gave it to him).
