Well, we are a little behind the times on this one, but wanted to give everyone an update.

We had our first doctor’s visit on November 17th. All went great! We had the ultrasound and were able to see the heartbeat…147 beats per minute! The baby was so tiny…Jay compared it to a butterbean and has been calling it that ever since.

Dr. Wise said all looked great so far. My due date is officially June 26, 2007. We are heading back on December 14th, but I think this time is just to hear the heartbeat, no more ultrasounds until our 20 week appointment.

It is beginning to feel real!

I bought one of those fetal monitors where you can apparently hear the baby’s heartbeat. Good Luck! I can barely hear mine! Plus, every time I think I hear something, Jay puts it on his belly and I swear he sounds more prego than I do. I think it is not supposed to work until you are 5 months along. Oh well.

And for those keeping track, the baby is about the size of a lime this week…
