In honor of Turkey Day, the Hansens decided to be a bunch of turkeys themselves….

We trekked to Owensboro for Thanksgiving to spend the start of the season with the Hansens. Adam and Kellie did a great job again of gathering the family at Pizza by the Guy and having a huge, delicious feast. It was great to see everyone, especially the kids, and to show off the baby photo from the Ultrasound.

After dinner, we all headed out to say goodbye and Jay decided to have some fun with the boys. Take a look at the level of exertion on his face. Must be that the kids ate too much pumpkin pie.

I am pleased to report that the Beginner’s Luck team ended the 2006 season on a high note–a WIN! They beat the Good Googly Moogly’s after a 2-2 battle that went into an Overtime Shoot Out. The Moogly’s, who I think changed their name from Good to Ugly (which was much more representative of their persona) were not exactly the most sportsmanlike team we have played this year, so it was especially nice to kick their butts!
Evening celebrations happened after the game at Broadway Brewhouse…yummy, I got some of my Beck’s Non-Alcoholic beer.
