For Christmas, Adam & Kellie gave us a true poker set. Naturally, we had to try it out. Poker actually played second to a ton of food, wine, and sushi, prepared by renowned sushi chef, Teitenberg-san, and finally getting together with everyone. And Becky, that first photo is payback for the one on your site!!!

The Hansen clan all celebrated a belated Christmas, although compared to 2005, this was early, and Jay wasn’t celebrating via conference call! Gifts were plentiful, sushi was yummy (nothing says Christmas like Sushi!), and it was great to spend time with everyone…and the newest addition to the Hansens…Dexter the wonder dog!

New Year’s Eve was fast approaching. Terry got a promotion (CONGRATS) and would be working over the holiday so we needed new plans. CHICAGO! Jay and I have said that if were to move out of Nashville, we think Chicago would be the place to go. That being said, neither one of us has toured the city much, so we packed up the dogs, the car, and drove up. I LOVE Lincoln Park. Reminds of what I loved about NYC. Plus, Jay found a Steeler bar and I found a Bloody Mary. (See photo below) What more can one ask for? We stayed in Naperville, which was a very nice town, a lot like Franklin, but even more neat boutiques and restaurants in their downtown.
